We aim to cater to all your registration needs whether you want to register a new dog or even your litter or maybe update a previous registration with AKCUPI.

Submit Registration Forms to AKCUPI

Once you've filled out the forms, all that's left is sending us the original documents through mail for our filing. Upon receipt, processing of the forms will take 3-5 days.

DOG OWNERSHIP REGISTRATION

Not part of AKCUPI? Are you looking to register your dog with us? Here are the requirements needed to be filled out for registration. Simply download the forms and send them to AKCUPI for processing.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Photo ID for Dog Owner's Identification

  • Dog Owner's Registration Form & Signature Card

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

At the back of the AKCUPI pedigree have the former owner sign Part 1 certifying that he/she is transferring the ownership of the dog to the new owner(s). The new owner(s) fills up and signs Part II signifying your intention to have to dog transferred to your name. For PCCI registered dogs follow the instructions above but the former owner signs Section A of the PCCI pedigree and new owner fills up & signs Section B. For pedigrees issued by other recognized kennel clubs here & abroad, submit the original pedigree with the proper endorsements to the new owner(s).

KENNEL NAME REGISTRATION

5 Year Registration

A kennel name is required for anyone who registers a litter. It is usually placed as a prefix before the dog’s name. Example: Kennel Name is : Majestic and the dog’s name is Pluto the registered name will be Majestic’s Pluto. Each breeder is only allowed to register one kennel name and it works like a family name where people will be able to identify the breeder of the dog from the name alone. No kennel name is alike that’s why you are required to give three choices. To register your Kennel name, fill up a Kennel Name Application Form and submit it with three unique names. AKCUPI will choose the name according to your preference that is not similar to a currently registered one. Kennel names are only registered once and renewed every five (5) years. A breeder can use their kennel name as often as necessary, no need to apply for one every time you register a litter. We also offer Lifetime Kennel Name registration, please contact us for the fee

LITTER REGISTRATION

BOTH AKCUPI REGISTERED PARENTS

A litter is registered by the owner of the dam at the time of birth. The litter owner is also known as the breeder. Fill up a Litter Registration Application form with all the details. The owners of both the sire & dam must sign this application form. A litter can only be registered once so please make sure you register the entire litter at the same time.

A litter is registered by the owner of the dam at the time of birth. The litter owner is also known as the breeder. Fill up a Litter Registration Application form with all the details. You will need to include the dam's original pedigree with the application A litter can only be registered once so please make sure you register the entire litter at the same time.

You will need to include a photocopy of the sire's pedigree with the application. A litter can only be registered once so please make sure you register the entire litter at the same time.

LITTER REGISTRATION

Both Sire and Dam are PCCI (or other dog club) registered

A litter is registered by the owner of the dam at the time of birth. The litter owner is also known as the breeder. Fill up a Litter Registration Application form with all the details. If you own BOTH sire & dam you must register them with AKCUPI by submitting their original pedigree and fill out the litter registration application. If you only own the dam and the sire is owned by someone else, submit a photocopy of the sire’s pedigree and have the sire’s owner fill up and sign the litter registration application in the stud dog owner’s declaration. A litter can only be registered once so please make sure you register the entire litter at the same time.
