Own a Purebred Dog but Lack Pedigree Papers? Here's What You Can Do!

If you have a purebred dog but lack its pedigree papers—perhaps due to an oversight by the breeder or lost documentation—don’t worry! There is a solution available: the Listing process.



Many kennel clubs around the world now offer a Listing option for non-registered purebred dogs, allowing you to establish your dog’s pedigree. To get started, your dog will need to undergo a screening by an approved AKCUPI judge or expert, who will assess whether your dog meets the breed standards.



Once your dog successfully passes this verification process, our team will reach out to guide you through the next steps. Don’t let missing papers deter you from showcasing your purebred dog’s lineage!

Submit Registration Forms to AKCUPI
Once you've filled out the forms, all that's left is sending us the original documents through mail for our filing. Upon receipt, processing of the forms will take 3-5 days.
